Recently, Laura let me borrow the book Animal, Vegetable, Miracle and it has inspired me to try to grow some of my own food. Living in an apartment in a big city has made that a little difficult, so I picked this basil plant up at the farmers market yesterday as a way to get started. I guess it’s kind of cheating because it was already big and healthy to begin with but come on, it’s a start.
Oh, and any good basil recipes would be much appreciated.
